Punjab Assembly Election 2022: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has asked people to tell their favorite candidate amidst the ongoing political discussions regarding the chief ministerial candidate in Punjab. The party has asked voters to dial 7074870748 to indicate their choice of name for the post of CM. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal have claimed that he will reveal the party's favorite CM face, chosen by people based on televoting, on January 17. Kejriwal has also said that this is the first time in politics that a party is asking the public to select its chief minister.

Kejriwal said that we will see the reaction of the public and according to their feedback, the party will select the candidate for the post of CM. This move can be called disappointing for Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann, as he has been keeping the ambitions of the post of CM for a long time.
