As he embarks on a new chapter in his political career, Raghav Chadha has addressed the questions being raised regarding his decision to join the BJP. On Monday, he released a video on the social media platform Instagram, explaining the reasons behind his decision.
Raghav Chadha stated that, since announcing his change of party, he has been receiving a large volume of messages over the past three days. He noted that while many people are offering their best wishes and sending congratulatory messages, others are keen to understand why he chose to leave the Aam Aadmi Party and make this decision.
He remarked, "Friends, before entering politics, I was a Chartered Accountant; I had a brilliant career ahead of me. I left that career behind to enter the political arena. I did not enter politics to build a career for myself."
"I became a founding member of a political party; I dedicated 15 years of my youth to it, nurturing this party with immense hard work, with my very blood and sweat. However, today, this party is no longer the same party it once was. Currently, there is a toxic work environment within this party; you are actively hindered from doing your work. You are prevented from speaking in Parliament. And today, this political party has fallen into the clutches of a select few individuals who are both corrupt and compromised."
