New Delhi. Congress leader (Congress) Rahul Gandhi spoke to reporters on Tuesday. In the press conference, Rahul Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that we are going to fight a 21-day war against Corona. Today it has been 60 days but we are the only country where the virus is growing rapidly. Hindustan is the country which is closing the lockdown while increasing the lockdown. It is clear that the lockdown has failed. The goal of Narendra Modi ji was not fulfilled. We want to ask the government very respectfully, what is your plan B now?
Rahul Gandhi said that where our government is there, we are providing cash to the people there but we did not get any help from the Center. Rahul said that our party's governments have a strategy to manage migrants, increase scrutiny in states, but without the help of the Center, they cannot do everything alone.
In response to the question of the rise in the percentage of unemployment in the country before and after the epidemic, Rahul said that we have to make a path between economy and health so that both can run smoothly. As a national leader I feel very sad to say that many of our companies will be closed. Will be bankrupted. People are becoming unemployed in large numbers. It is important that the government does the same work on both the economy and healthcare.
What did Rahul say on China and Nepal?
On the question of the current tense situation with China and Nepal, Rahul said that the details of the border dispute, what happened and how it happened, what has been done, the government should give complete information about it. Government should inform everyone about this. The government should tell the public what happened on the borders with Nepal and China. China and India do not want to speak much on the issue, but transparency is needed. Unless there is transparency, then it is not necessary to comment on this.
On the question of implementing lockdown in his tweet and 54 days after that, Rahul said that the work of the government is for governance. Our work is of opposition. Our job is to put pressure on the government. If the government is not seeing or ignoring anything, then it is our job to highlight it. What I did in February, I am still doing today. I have not changed my position.
We have to strengthen our people- Rahul
Rahul said that even the first chapter has not started yet. I say that the government should reconsider its economic package. Money should be given in the pocket of every worker. We have to give 7500 rupees every month to our people. We should not make sense of what the foreigners are saying that the ratings will fall. We have to strengthen our people
This is Rahul's fourth press briefing amidst the lockdown implemented due to the Corona virus. Earlier, on 16 April, 7 May and 15 May, we also held press talks. At the same time, in the meantime, an online session of interaction was held with RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan and Nobel laureate Abhijeet Banerjee.
