North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Shashi Kiran informed that some train services are facing obstacles like partial cancellation, rescheduling, and delay in the route. Railways have appealed to the passengers to check their travel plans so that they do not face any inconvenience.
Railway officials say that passengers must check the latest information before their journey and keep an alternative ready if needed. Railways have apologized for the inconvenience caused to the passengers due to this situation and have promised to make proper arrangements. Apart from this, the Railways has also given security instructions to all railway employees. Railways said that employees should be alert about calls coming from unknown numbers, and should not give any information related to military trains to anyone. Report any suspicious call or contact immediately. Instructions have been given to stay away from any such calls or conversations and immediately inform senior officials. Strictly follow the prescribed communication protocol.
According to the information, train number 14661 (Barmer - Jammu Tawi), which was to leave at 00:20 on May 09, will now leave at 06:00 am. Train number 74840 (Barmer-Bhagat Ki Kothi), which was to leave at 03:30 on May 09, will now leave at 06:30. Similarly, train number 15013 (Jaisalmer-Kathgarham), which was at 02:40 on May 09, will now leave at 07:30. Train number 14807 - Jodhpur to Dadar Express, will leave from Jodhpur on May 9 at 08:10 instead of 05:10. Similarly, train number 14864 - Jodhpur to Varanasi City Express will run from Jodhpur on 9 May at 11:25 instead of 08:25.
Apart from this, some trains have been regulated. This includes train number 14662 (Jammutvi-Barmer), which ran on 07 May, this train will be regulated en route and the estimated time of arrival at Barmer will be 07:30. Train number 14087 (Delhi-Jaisalmer), which ran from Delhi on 08 May, is expected to reach Jaisalmer at 07:00 am. Train number 15014 (Kathgarham-Jaisalmer), which ran on 07 May, the estimated time of arrival at Jaisalmer will be 06:30.
