Ghaziabad, March 15 (IANS) Actor-turned-politician and Congress candidate from Ghaziabad parliamentary constituency Raj Babbar held a road show in the city Saturday.
Babbar flagged off his road show from UP Gate at 11 a.m. He was accompanied by district Congress president Bijendra Yadav.
After paying tribute to Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad and Subhas Chandra Bose at their statues, Babbar reached Bajhera where he ploughed a field acquired by Anil Ambani owned Reliance for its power project.
In his address, Babbar said he was the one who supported Ghaziabad farmers against forceful land acquisition by the then Samajwadi Party government.
