New Delhi: Tension continues between India and China. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said today that the Indian Armed Forces on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in East Ladakh faced the Chinese Army with 'full wages' and forced them to withdraw.

Addressing the annual general meeting of industry chamber FICCI, Singh said that aggression on our borders of the Himalayas without any provocation shows how the world is changing, how existing agreements are being challenged.

The Defense Minister said, "They faced the PLA (People's Liberation Army) with full wages and forced them to return." The coming generations of the country will be proud of what our force has achieved this year. "

Rajnath Singh said that the Indian Army showed exemplary courage and remarkable patience in facing challenges. He said, "The aggression on our borders of the Himalayas without any provocation shows how the world is changing, how existing agreements are being challenged, not only in the Himalayas but also in the Indo-Pacific.

He said, "And how uncertain the future of the region and the world can be in this background. As you know there is a heavy deployment of armed forces on LAC (Line of Actual Control) in Ladakh. "

What did Rajnath say about the peasant movement?

Without mentioning the farmer movement, Rajnath Singh said that there is no question of "taking adverse steps in our agricultural sector". Singh said, "The recent reforms have been done keeping in mind the supreme interest of the farmers." However, we are always ready to listen to our farmer brothers, clear their misconceptions .... "

Describing agriculture as the mother sector, he said that the government is always ready for discussion and negotiation to resolve the issues.

Singh said, "Agriculture is an area which has been able to ward off the adverse effects of the coronavirus global epidemic. Our produce and purchases are plentiful and our warehouses are full. There is never any question of taking retroactive steps against our agriculture sector. "
