Meanwhile, a section of netizens has discovered an old video of Kapil Sharma, in which he had made objectionable hints about his parents.

A section on social media has pointed out similarities between Kapil's joke and the objectionable comment made by Ranveer Allahabadia. Some people have also called it outright obscene.

 

Samay Raina talked about cooperating with the authorities.
