Rinku Singh made a bang in international cricket and on the strength of his first innings, he became an example for the youth. Indian team opener Ruturaj Gaikwad praised Rinku Singh and said that match finishers need to learn one thing from the left-handed batsman.

Rinku Singh got a chance to bat for the first time in the second T20 International match against Ireland (IND vs IRE T20I). The left-handed batsman grabbed the opportunity with both hands and smashed a blistering 38 off just 21 balls. During his innings, Rinku Singh hit two fours and three sixes.

What did Ruturaj Gaikwad say

After the match, Ruturaj Gaikwad praised Rinku Singh saying that he knows when to strike and the innings against Ireland will help him a lot.

Gaikwad said, “Rinku Singh has become everyone's favorite since this year's IPL. He has shown maturity while playing in the IPL this year. The best thing about Rinku is that he does not strike from the first ball. He always puts himself first. Whatever the situation, he first understands the situation and then attacks.

What match finishers should learn from Rinku

Ruturaj Gaikwad also said, "Be it an upcoming player or one who wants to be a finisher, he can learn a lot from Rinku Singh." It is always important that you spend some time at the crease and then always cover it afterward.

The Indian opener said, “Rinku has learned this style very well this year. They know when to attack. He attacks at the right time. It was an important innings for him as it was his debut. I believe this inning will help Rinku Singh a lot.
