US President Joe Biden has approved military aid of $ 800 million (about Rs 6,089 crore) for Ukraine. This includes 11 helicopters, 18 howitzers, and 300 switchblade drones.

Zelensky appeals to Biden - to declare Russia a country sponsoring terrorism

 

According to the Washington Post, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently had a phone conversation with US President Joe Biden. Zelensky urged Biden to declare Russia a sponsor of terrorism. However, Biden did not give any assurance about this.

 

The US has already refused to include Russia in the list of countries sponsoring terrorism. It currently includes North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and Iran. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told the media last month that we are focusing on-ground action. Russia's inclusion in this list will also affect countries that are doing business with Moscow.

 

Bodies of more than 900 civilians were found in Kyiv after the withdrawal of the Russian army

 

The chief of Kyiv police said during a briefing on Friday that the bodies of more than 900 civilians had been found since the Russian army had withdrawn from the area. Andrey Nebitov said the bodies were examined and sent to a forensic lab for detailed examination. Nebitov also said that the bodies of some people in the village of Shevchenko have been identified. They were civilians and were shot.

 

According to Nebitov, some of those shot had white bands on their arms to protect themselves from the Russian army. During the occupation of our cities, the Russian army asked civilians who had been screened to wear white bands. That's why our people wore these white bands to save lives.

 

US Secretary of State said - the war can go on till the end of 2022

 

According to a CNN report, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that the US believes that the Russia-Ukraine war can last until the end of 2022. These things have been told by CAN quoting two European officials.

 

Reiterating the same point, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has said that the fighting in Ukraine is likely to prolong. It will last for months or more. European officials said it was unlikely that Putin would resort to diplomatic dialogue until he faces a military defeat.

 

So far 1982 Ukrainian civilians have lost their lives in Russian attack

 

The UN human rights agency said that 1982 civilians have been killed in Ukraine since the start of the war. These include 511 men, 323 women, 34 girls, and 56 boys. At the same time, 72 children have also died and 2,651 people have been injured.
