PM Narendra Modi's first state visit to America will decide the future course of relations between the two countries. PM Modi will visit Egypt for two days

Modi will stay in America from June 20 to 23 and while returning from there will be on a two-day visit to Egypt on June 24 and 25. During the US visit, several important agreements in the field of defense and technology are likely to be signed between the two countries in front of PM Modi and President Joe Biden.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, the first leg of the visit will see the PM visit New York, where he will participate in the International Day of Yoga program at the United Nations Headquarters on June 21. On June 22, there will be official bilateral talks between PM Modi and President Biden. On the same day, the PM will address a joint session of the US Parliament.

 

PM Modi will address the US Parliament

Apart from being the first Prime Minister of the country to address the US Parliament again, he will join very few politicians in the world. Before this, only former British PM Winston Churchill, former South African President Nelson Mandela, former Israeli PM Yeztik Rabin and current PM Benjamin Netanyahu have got the opportunity to address the US Parliament twice or more.

 

This meeting between the two leaders could be the longest

Sources have told that the meeting between Biden and Modi on June 22 could be the longest meeting between these two leaders so far. Its agenda is very broad. Apart from bilateral defense and business relations, there will also be issues like the situation in the Indo-Pacific region, the Ukraine dispute, G-20, Quad, food, and energy security.

 

PM Modi will also address the people of the Indian community

It also includes an agenda for building a common long-term policy in the field of high technology on bilateral issues. On June 23, US Vice President Kamala Harris organized a banquet in honor of PM Modi. After this PM will meet with American industrialists. Meanwhile, will also address the people of the Indian community.

 

PM Modi's Visit to Egypt

On his return, PM Modi will be the state guest of Egypt for two days at the invitation of President El Sisi. This will be the visit of an Indian PM to Egypt after a long time. The President of Egypt has visited India three times in the last eight years. President El Sisi was the State Guest of India on the occasion of Republic Day this year.

 

The supply chain of American companies

Sources said that the purpose of PM Modi's US visit would be to show what the two countries can achieve through mutual partnership. A lot of work has been done between India and America regarding cooperation in areas like economics, defense, security, and technology. Now the need is being felt to give it a new direction. Now Indian companies have the potential to become an important part of the supply chain of American companies.

 

Indian talents are also ready to make a bigger contribution. Cooperation in the defense sector has expanded considerably. But now moving beyond buyer-seller relationships.
