He also met Sanjay Verma, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs, and Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture, during his visit. After meeting the leaders, Zhaparova addressed the program of a think tank.
During this, he said that Ukraine wants close and deep relations with India. During this, he said that any aggression that can question the territorial integrity of any country is a matter of great concern. India should identify such people. On the other hand, regarding Pakistan, he said that Ukraine's relations with Pakistan are not against India's interests.
Appeal to come with India
During her address, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emin Zhaparova said that Ukraine wants closer and deeper ties with India. At ICWA she said that I have come here with a very important message that Ukraine wants India and Ukraine to come closer. There are different pages in our history. Eager to welcome PM Modi
Zhaparova, the first Ukrainian leader to visit India after the Russian aggression began on February 24 last year, had said that an invitation has already been extended to Prime Minister Modi to visit Ukraine. President Zelensky has also invited the Indian Prime Minister. He said that we want to strengthen our relations with India. Zhaparova said we are looking forward to welcoming PM Modi to our country.
