Jyoti Malhotra's father Harish Malhotra, accused of espionage, said on Thursday that he did not have money to hire a lawyer. He wanted to go and meet his daughter. The police gave him time at 12 noon. At 12 noon, he came to know that Jyoti has been sent on remand again. The police cheated him by giving him the wrong time. Talking to Amar Ujala, he said that he does not even have a mobile phone.

When I asked the policemen about Jyoti, they told me that they will present her in court after 12 noon on Thursday. Come to the court, we will make you meet Jyoti. At 11 am, two journalists came to my house, they told me that Jyoti has been sent on remand again. She is not in the court. When I asked him about appointing a lawyer for Jyoti, he said that he does not know any lawyer. He does not even have money.

At around 9.30 am, police brought Jyoti to the court premises. Investigating officer of this case, Inspector Nirmala, presented the investigation report of the accused in court.

Jyoti was in contact with the Pakistan Operative Agency.

The investigating officer told the court that Jyoti Malhotra's mobile and laptop have been sent to the forensic lab in Madhuban for investigation. Its report has not been received yet. Evidence has been found of Jyoti being in contact with the Pakistan Operative Agency (POI). The investigation will be expanded after getting the data from her mobile and laptop. Only this data will reveal what kind of information Jyoti had shared with POI.

Jyoti did not appoint her lawyer.

Jyoti Malhotra has also made videos of many other states, in which border security was also shown. The police of some such states also want to interrogate her. For this, Jyoti should be given a 7-day remand. Jyoti did not appoint her private lawyer. The court provided her with a lawyer from DLSA (District Legal Service Authority). After about 40 minutes of debate between both parties, the court sent Jyoti Malhotra on a four-day remand.

Jyoti was brought to the court in a Scorpio.

To avoid the media, the Civil Line Police brought Jyoti Malhotra in a Scorpio with black glasses instead of a police vehicle. She was brought inside from Gate No. 1 of the court. During this, there were tight security arrangements. More than 40 policemen were deployed at different places on the court premises. Apart from this, some policemen were also deployed in civil dress. All the people were removed before the court appearance.

Jyoti used to send videos of Pakistan to Danish before uploading them.

During the interrogation of Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested on suspicion of spying for Pakistan, it has come to light that before making videos related to Pakistan and uploading them on social media, they were sent to Danish, an officer of the Pakistan Embassy. On this, Danish used to watch those videos and give some instructions to Jyoti. After this, Jyoti used to edit the video as per the instructions and then uploaded it on social media. It is believed that the Danish used to get the scenes damaging the image of Pakistan deleted from the video. He used to check that no confidential part related to Pakistan's security should go in the video. Police have found evidence of such videos being sent from Jyoti's mobile.

No lawyer has been appointed by Jyoti to fight the case. Jyoti's father Harish Malhotra said that I do not have money to hire a lawyer. I do not know how to hire a lawyer. He said that for the last five days, no one has been coming to my house except the media and the police. Neighbors and relatives have kept their distance.

Efforts to understand the travel pattern

Police and central investigation agencies are trying to understand the travel pattern of Jyoti, in which an attempt is being made to link the videos uploaded after Jyoti's travel and the incidents of terror in those areas. In the areas where Jyoti went, were any suspected terrorists arrested or did any incident take place there? Facts are also being gathered about who sponsored which of Jyoti's trips.
