Infection with the old variant of Omicron has been found in the other two samples. At the same time, one patient in each of the new variants has been found in the Ajmer, Dausa, Jhunjhunu, and Bharatpur districts of Rajasthan. Among these, the Dausa patient has died.
The highest number of cases of variant JN.1 was reported from Goa
The Union Health Ministry informed that 293 patients have recovered from Covid in the last 24 hours. There have been 66 new cases. According to the information, there are 109 patients of Covid sub-variant JN.1. Most cases of sub-variant JN.1 have been reported from Goa. At the same time, cases of this variant have also been reported from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
