Saradha scam: ED quizzes Assam ex-minister's wife

Kolkata, Feb 17 (IANS) The Enforcement Directorate Tuesday quizzed Riniki Sarma, wife of former Assam minister and senior Congres leader Himanshu Sarma, on her alleged links to the multi-crore rupee Saradha chit fund scam.

Sources said Sarma, who is the proprietor of some television channels, faced posers on her business transactions with Saradha Group chief Sudipto Sen - the purported scam kingpin .

Earlier, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had also questioned her.
