The coronavirus is causing havoc in China on a large scale. Governments all over the world have become alert after the outbreak of Covid-19. Amid global concerns over the virus, the Chinese government has urged its citizens through newspapers to win a "final victory" over Covid. Last month, China lifted several Covid controls, following which a large number of infection cases were reported. At present, the demand for crematoriums has increased in China. At the same time, international health experts have predicted at least one million deaths in the country this year.

Covid test is mandatory for people coming from China

China has officially underreported the number of Covid deaths. The People's Daily, the newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party, said in an editorial that China and the Chinese people will surely win the final victory against the epidemic. Explain that because of the increasing infection, many countries including European and America have made Covid tests mandatory for passengers coming from China. Health officials in the 27-member European Union will also demand answers from China on the subject on Wednesday.

Death toll higher than official figures

At the same time, officials of the World Health Organization have also met Chinese scientists regarding the development of the virus. He asked China to share data on the number of hospitalizations, deaths, and vaccinations. China reported three deaths from Covid on Monday. Similarly, the death toll from the virus has officially reached 5,253 since the pandemic began in the country. British-based health data firm Airfinity reported that around 9,000 people in China are possibly dying of Covid each day.

Increase in the number of people going out

Explain that despite some countries banning Chinese visitors, the number of people going out of China is increasing. Bookings for international flights from China have increased by 145 percent year-on-year in recent times. The government claims that there is still no space available for international flights to and from India. It will increase flights and make it easier for people to travel abroad. Thailand is a major destination for Chinese tourists. More than 11 million Chinese tourists visited Thailand in 2019. But there are signs that an increase in travel from China could be spreading the virus overseas.
