After the resounding victory of the BJP in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, preparations are on to make the swearing-in ceremony of the new government memorable. After Holi, the date of March 21 is proposed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National President JP Nadda, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah, other Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, and prominent leaders from across the country will attend the grand ceremony to be held at the Ekana Stadium. The core committee of the state BJP, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is going to Delhi on Wednesday for an important meeting to decide on the cabinet formation.

After the thumping victory of the BJP in the 2017 assembly elections, on March 19, the Yogi government was sworn in at the grounds of Ramabai Ambedkar Smriti Upvan in the capital. The BJP was very excited about that victory after a decade and a half, so this time the party is constantly immersed in the joy of returning to power in the state. This time it is proposed to take oath on March 21 by the cabinet including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Ekana Stadium at Shaheed Path has been chosen for the swearing-in ceremony.

At the state level, the party has done a lot of work on the outline of the cabinet formation according to the ethnic-regional equations. Now the final decision is to be taken after consultation with the central leadership. For this, CM Yogi Adityanath, State in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, State President Swatantradev Singh, State General Secretary Organization Sunil Bansal, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, and Dr. Dinesh Sharma are going to Delhi on Wednesday morning.

There is to be a meeting with National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National General Secretary Organization BL Santosh, state election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan and other senior leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can also participate in this. In this meeting, the final seal will be taken on the outline of the swearing-in ceremony including the formation of the cabinet.

CM Yogi Adityanath will also invite other senior leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the swearing-in ceremony. It is almost certain that Modi, Nadda, Rajnath, Shah, other Union ministers, and chief ministers of BJP-ruled states will attend the ceremony. There is also a possibility that if the PM's time is not received on March 21, then the date can be changed.

MLC candidates will be announced: BJP is parallelizing the preparations for the election of the Legislative Council (local body). The process of nomination for this election, which is going to be held on 36 seats, started on Tuesday. The last date for the nomination of thirty seats in the first phase is March 19. Here, Holi is a holiday on the 17th and 18th. In this way, candidates have to get one day apart from Wednesday for nomination. The BJP has shortlisted the names of four to five contenders from all the districts after brainstorming in the meeting of the State Core Committee. It is almost certain that nine members of the Legislative Council, who have left from other parties, will also be given tickets from the ruling party in this election. In this, there are eight who left the SP and one MLC from BSP. The names of other candidates have been shortlisted keeping in view the regional-caste equations. After getting the approval of the central leadership on these, the candidates will be announced on Wednesday.
