Based on the secret report of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Sarfaraz Memon was taken into custody on Sunday night. He is a resident of Chandan Nagar, Indore. It has been said in the report that he has brought training from China, Pakistan, and Hong Kong and is looking for a major attack in India. He will now be interrogated by the Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad.
NIA alerted Mumbai Police
Earlier, the NIA had sent an e-mail to the Mumbai Police asking them to be vigilant about Memon. The agency also sent his Aadhaar card, driving license, and passport. The agency also said that Memon is dangerous for India.
Memon's parents are in custody
Mumbai ATS told Indore Intelligence DCP Rajat Saklecha that Sarfaraz Memon lives in Fatma Apartment, Green Park Colony, Chandan Nagar, upon which the police reached the spot and took his parents into custody. After this, he reached the police station late at night.

It is said that Memon often travels to different countries. There is also information about his whereabouts in many states. During interrogation, he told that his sister had died of a brain hemorrhage, due to which he used to be upset. He went to Hong Kong on business, where he lived for 12 years.

It is said that Memon also lived in Khajrana of Indore around 2007. After selling the house here, he came to Chandan Nagar. Doubts about some of his things due to which Mumbai ATS has been called for questioning.
Amit Shah's Twitter account was hacked
According to an official involved in the interrogation, he was also involved in hacking the Twitter account of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in 2020, on which a case was registered against him in Gujarat.
China and Hong Kong went 15 times
DCP Zone-4 RK Singh and Additional DCP Zone-4 Abhinav Vishwakarma interrogated Sarfaraz, in which he told that he had gone to China and Hong Kong 15 times. It is also mentioned in his passport. At the same time, after the information from NIA, Sarfaraz has been taken into custody. Police and Intelligence teams are engaged in questioning him.
