State Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar announced this. He informed that from February 1, 2022, schools for classes 1 to 8 will be started in the district. However, the school timings have been fixed only half as before. Schools for class 9th and 10th will start as before. The colleges of the district will also start as per the earlier schedule.
Parental approval required
State Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that no child will be forced to come to school. For this, the consent of the parents will be required. Other decisions related to schools will be taken in the next meeting.
Schools are open from 24 in Maharashtra
Schools were closed in Maharashtra due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic. Accepting the proposal of Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray ordered the opening of schools in the state from January 24. However, due to the spurt in Corona cases in Pune, it was decided to close the schools for one more week.
