Shameful statement of BJP MLA about bringing Naveen's body from Ukraine said- Coffin occupies more space in flight

Karnataka BJP MLA has given an inhuman statement on the question of bringing the body of Karnataka resident Naveen Shekharappa, who lost his life in Ukraine, to India. Arvind Belladi told reporters – A corpse coffin occupies the space of 8 to 10 people in the flight. Instead of bringing dead bodies, people can be brought in the plane. Beladi is the MLA of Hubli-Dharwad region. Naveen is a resident of this area.

 

Minister of State for External Affairs said - so far more than 9 thousand students have reached India safely

219 students who arrived in Delhi from Ukraine were welcomed by the Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi and Minister of State for IT Rajiv Chandrashekhar at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Friday. Lekhi said- We are in touch with Ukraine and all its surrounding countries and they are helping to evacuate our citizens and students. He requested the parents of the students stranded in Ukraine to be patient and assured that the government would evacuate all the students safely. Lekhi said- So far more than 9,000 students have returned from the country.

Under 'Operation Ganga', a campaign to bring back Indians stranded in Ukraine, 18 aircraft will return with Indians in the next 24 hours. 3,500 Indians will be brought home on Friday. At the same time, 3,900 Indians will be brought back on Saturday. Two flights carrying Indians from Romania reached Mumbai in the early hours of Friday and again in the morning. Minister of State for Railways Raosaheb Patil Danve welcomed the passengers.

 

Another plane landed in Delhi. Union Minister of State Nishit Pramanik welcomed the returned passengers. Here, Indians will also be brought back through Russia. For this, the Air Force will use IL-76 aircraft. We got this plane from Russia itself. Three C-17 Globemasters of the Air Force landed at Hindon airbase with 630 students on Friday morning.

 

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that 3 of these flights are of C-17 Globemaster of the Indian Air Force, others are commercial flights. These include flights of Air India, Indigo, Spice Jet, Go Air, and Go First. During the last 24 hours, under this operation, 3,000 Indians have been brought home in 15 flights.

 

Target to evacuate all Indians by March 10

 

After rescuing the Indians trapped in Ukraine, the Indian government will return home by March 10. A total of 80 flights will be deployed for this. 24 ministers of the central government are being entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining their arrangements.

 

A total of 35 flights will arrive from Bucharest, the capital of Romania, including 14 of Air India, eight of Air India Express, seven of IndiGo, one of SpiceJet, three of Vistara, and two of Indian Air Force. A total of 28 flights have been deployed from Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

 

130 Russian buses ready to bring Indians

 

Meanwhile, Russia has prepared 130 buses to evacuate Indians and citizens of other countries stranded in Kharkiv and Sumy cities. Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, gave this information. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday and asked for the safe evacuation of Indians from the war-torn areas of Ukraine.

What should stranded Indians do?

 

Get and share information with your Indian friends.

 

Involve yourself in small groups of 10 Indian students. Make a co-ordinator (coordinator) and deputy co-ordinator.

 

Create a WhatsApp group. Get details, name, address, mobile number, and contact of all members.

 

Share geolocation on WhatsApp with the embassy or control room in New Delhi.

 

To save the phone battery only the co-ordinator should interact with the local authorities, embassy, and control room in India.

Keep a small kit of essentials ready in person or round the clock.

 

Emergency kit includes passport, ID card, essential medicine, lifesaving drugs, flashlight, matches, lighter, candle, cash, energy bar, power bank, water, first aid kit, headgear, muffler, gloves, heated jacket, warm socks, and shoes A comfortable pair of should be available.

 

Keep food and water with you and share them. Avoid overeating. Do not let the body lack water.

 

Keep a white flag, white cloth for each group to wave.

 

Learn two or three sentences in Russian. Like, we are students, we are not fighters, please don't harm us, we are from India, please help.

 

If stopped by military check-post or police, armed personnel, militia cooperates, obey orders.

 

In the event of a warning siren, hide wherever possible immediately, if you are out in the open, lie on your stomach and cover your head with your backpack.
