The parents of Air Force Group Captain and Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla became emotional about their son's achievement. They had come to attend a program of CMS located on Kanpur Road. Shubhanshu became the second Indian to go to space after Rakesh Sharma, who orbited the Earth for eight consecutive days 41 years ago.

The Axiom-4 mission has taken off for space. During the launch, Shubhanshu's parents had tears in their eyes. They said that the whole country is proud of him. On this occasion, SIA India President Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri said, 'Our astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla is going to space. This is a great day for India.'

About Indian astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, who became a part of the Axiom mission, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that today a new chapter will be written in the field of space science. I congratulate him and his entire family.

Parents said- their daughter-in-law played a big role.

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla's mother Asha Shukla said that this is a proud moment for us and everyone. Posters are being put up everywhere. Everyone is happy that a boy from this country, from this Triveni Nagar is going to reach such heights. We are sending him our best wishes and blessings. He has the full support of our daughter-in-law. This would not have been possible without her. She has played the biggest role here.

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla's father Shambhu Dayal Shukla said that we are very excited about his mission. We are very happy. Our blessings are with him and we also pray to God that his mission is completed well. It feels great to see all the posters put up for him. He is bringing glory to Lucknow, the state, and our country. We are proud of him.
