Sonu Sood's film 'Fateh' hit the theaters on January 10. This film is directed by Sonu Sood and he is also the lead actor of the film. Now Sonu has told the reason behind directing 'Fateh'. Sonu Sood expressed his opinion on the action genre and told why he chose 'Fateh' as his first directorial film.
Why did Sonu Sood select 'Fateh'?
Actor Sonu Sood said in a conversation with ANI, "I always thought that whenever a Bollywood film is made, we often say why our films do not have action scenes like foreign films. Why don't foreigners talk about our action scenes? This was always in my mind, but as an actor, you do not have the right to say much due to your limitations including production budget and script. When I became a director, I included it in my film."
It took two and a half months to film a scene.
The actor spent a lot of time writing the action scene of the film. Talking about an action scene that took two and a half months to make during the film, he said, "When you become a director, you can write the action. I wrote every action scene, including whether the character would be hit with a plate, spoon, pen, or drill. So, the time spent in writing made the action better. People are appreciating the action. We have worked a lot on it. We have also spent two and a half months on an action shot. So, I believe efforts are always appreciated."

Talking about the box office collection of Fateh, its condition is very bad at the box office. Fateh collected Rs 2.4 crore on the opening day. It has been three days since the film was released and till now it has collected only Rs 6.72 crore.
