Sourav Ganguly Resign: Secretary Jay Shah has dismissed the news of Sourav Ganguly resigning as the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Earlier there was news that the cricketer was leaving the post of president. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, putting an end to the speculation of resignation, clearly told the news agency that Ganguly has not resigned. Not long ago, Ganguly shared an emotional post on his official Twitter account.

 

In this post, he thanked the fans and fellow players for the journey so far. Along with this, Ganguly had sought the support of the people for the journey ahead.

His highest score on the Test is 239 runs. He has scored 11363 runs in 311 ODIs for India at an average of 41.02 and a strike rate of 73.70. He has scored 72 half-centuries and 22 centuries in one-day matches. His highest score in ODIs is 183 runs. Apart from this, he has scored 1726 runs in 77 T20 matches at an average of 25.01 and a strike rate of 107.00. He has also scored 8 half-centuries in this format.
