Sourav Ganguly Resign: Secretary Jay Shah has dismissed the news of Sourav Ganguly resigning as the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Earlier there was news that the cricketer was leaving the post of president. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, putting an end to the speculation of resignation, clearly told the news agency that Ganguly has not resigned. Not long ago, Ganguly shared an emotional post on his official Twitter account.
In this post, he thanked the fans and fellow players for the journey so far. Along with this, Ganguly had sought the support of the people for the journey ahead.

Apart from this, he has scored 1726 runs in 77 T20 matches at an average of 25.01 and a strike rate of 107.00. He has also scored 8 half-centuries in this format.
