Southern Railway diverts trains due to accident near Bengaluru

Chennai, Feb 13 (IANS) The Southern Railway has diverted some of its services following the derailment of the Bangalore-Ernakulam Inter-City Express near Bengaluru Friday morning.

In a statement issued here, the Southern Railway said it has diverted the following trains:

1. Train No.11014 Coimbatore - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will be diverted via.Tirupattur, Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin instead of Salem, Hosur arriving Bengaluru Feb 13.

2. Train No.12678 Ernakulam - Bengaluru City Feb 13 is diverted via. Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin.

3. Train No.16232 Mysore - Mayiladuturai express leaving Bengaluru Feb 13 will be diverted via. Jolarpettai 'A'Cabin, Tirupattur instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri.

4. Train No.16527 Yesvantpur - Kannur express leaving Yesvantpur Feb 13 will be diverted via. Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin, Tirupattur instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri.

5. Train No.16573 Yesvantpur - Puducherry weekly express leaving Yesvantpur Feb 13 will be diverted via. Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin, Tirupattur instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri.

6. Train No.16236 Mysore - Tuticorin express leaving Bengaluru Feb 13 will be diverted via. Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin, Tirupattur instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri.

7. Train No.11013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus- Coimbatore express via. Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin, Tirupattur instead of Hosur, Salem arriving Bangalore Feb 13.

8. Train No.16231 Mayiladuturai - Mysore Express leaving Mayiladuturai Feb 13 will be diverted via. Tirupattur, Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri arriving Bengaluru Feb 14.

9. Train No.16235 Tuticorin - Mysore Jn. express leaving Tuticorin Feb 13 will be diverted via. Tirupattur, Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin, instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri arriving Bengaluru Feb 14.

10.Train No.16528 Kannur - Yesvantpur weekly express leaving Kannur Feb 13 will be diverted via. Tirupattur, Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin, instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri arriving Yesvantpur Feb 14.

11.Train No.17236 Nagercoil Jn. - Bangalore City express leaving Nagercoil Feb 13 will be diverted via. Tirupattur, Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin, instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri arriving Bengaluru Feb 14.

12.Train No.12258 Kochuveli - Yesvantpur (Tri-weekly) Garibrath express leaving Kochuveli Feb 13 will be diverted via. Tirupattur, Jolarpettai 'A' Cabin, instead of Hosur, Dharmapuri arriving Yesvantpur Feb 14.

According to Southern Railway, train No.17235 Bangalore City - Nagercoil Express leaving Bengaluru city Feb 13 has been cancelled.
