These figures are from PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, which are the top 3 multiplex chains in the country. In such a situation, it is estimated that the film can collect around Rs 25-30 crore on the first day at the Indian box office. Booking of the film in the country started on Saturday 16 December. This is the first time that Shahrukh and Rajkumar Hirani have joined hands together.

Shahrukh Khan's 'Pathan' was released in January this year. This film had earned Rs 103 crore on the first day worldwide. Whereas Shahrukh's 'Jawaan' was released in September. This film collected Rs 129 crore on the first day worldwide. Both these films made many records by earning huge profits.
