T20 World Cup 2024: The Indian team left Barbados on a special chartered flight, 'Rohit Brigade' will reach New Delhi at this time

The Indian team has left Barbados on Wednesday through a special chartered flight and the flight will land in New Delhi at 6 am on Thursday. The Indian team was stuck in Barbados for the last three days due to cyclone Beryl.

 

The airport was closed due to the storm, but it was opened on Wednesday. Abhishek Tripathi, sports editor of Dainik Jagran newspaper, informed that the Indian team left Bridgetown at 9 am on Wednesday. The flight will land in New Delhi at 6 am on Thursday. Let us tell you that the time to leave Bridgetown was limited, as another storm is expected here.

Indian team ended the drought

 

Let us tell you that under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the Indian team ended the 11-year ICC title drought. Team India won the T20 World Cup title for the second time after 17 years. Indian team captain Rohit Sharma, star batsman Virat Kohli, and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja quickly announced their retirement from the format. Indian team head coach Rahul Dravid also bid farewell with the title.

It is expected that the Indian team will do a bus parade with the trophy, where it will celebrate winning the title with its fans. Apart from this, the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department has also sent an invitation to the Indian team. India has won the World Cup title after a long time and preparations are in full swing to celebrate it in grand style.
