This is the second attack on workers from other states living in Kashmir in two days.
Let us tell you that earlier on Thursday night, terrorists attacked brick kiln workers in Chadoora. In this, Dilkhush, a laborer from Bihar, was killed, while another was injured. There are a lot of laborers from other states living near Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Aglar Jainpora in Shopian. Last Friday night at around 11.45, the terrorists hurled a grenade targeting the workers standing outside. Two workers were injured in the attack.
Hearing the sound of the blast, other people were present around and the security forces reached the spot. He immediately took the injured workers to the hospital for treatment. Police along with Army and CRPF personnel cordoned off the spot and its adjoining areas and launched a search operation to nab the terrorists.
This is the fourth attack under target killing in the Kashmir Valley in the last four days. On Tuesday, terrorists shot Rajni Bala, a female teacher of Samba working in district Kulgam of Kashmir. Two days after that i.e. on Thursday, terrorists killed Vijay Kumar, a resident of Rajasthan, working as a bank manager in Elaka-e-Dehati Bank, while on the same day night, terrorists targeted two workers in Chadoora, in which one lost his life. while the other was injured. Now on the fourth day late on Friday night, the terrorists attacked the workers in Shopian. This time the terrorists, taking advantage of the darkness of the night, threw a grenade targeting the workers from a distance, in which two workers were seriously injured.
At the same time, a senior official of the culvert said that target killing has become a challenge for the security forces. This challenge is being considered because these attackers are not the top terrorists but the overground workers working for them. These workers live among the common people. After carrying out the attack, they again mix with the common people. We have activated our information systems to nab such attackers, the official said. Soon there will also be tightened.
