Tejaswi challenged, said- If there is a political position, then get Patna University central status

The matter of 'aukat' arose in Bihar once again. Before the Assembly elections in Bihar, the then DGP had used the word 'aukat' to refer to Riya in the Sushant case. After which there was a lot of ruckus. The then DGP Gupteshwar Pandey gave his clarification. This time the matter is completely different and this time the Leader of Opposition cum RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has directly challenged the NDA MPs, leaders, and ministers, including Nitish Sarkar, using the term Aukat in Bihar politics.

Tejashwi Yadav has said in a tweet, challenging the NDA government to grant the status of Central University to Patna University. Tejashwi tweeted that - what is so moral of Bihar's double engine government, several parties of NDA, 39 Lok Sabha MPs out of 40 of NDA, 9 Rajya Sabha MPs, half a dozen ministers from Bihar at center, two each of two Deputy Chief Ministers and Chief Minister And is there a political sense that Patna University can be given the status of Central University?

Let me tell you that in October 2017, in a program after the formation of Janata Dal-United (JDU) and the BJP government in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed to try to make Patna University the best university in the world. In the same program, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who was present with the PM, had asked PM Modi to grant Patna University Central University status. The Bihar government had also sent a proposal regarding this. But no action has been taken on this proposal to date. At the same time, the Nitish government had also demanded from the PM to grant special status to Bihar. With no action, the Opposition has been raising the NDA government and Nitish government in the dock on both issues.
