Telangana: Demand to admit medical students returned from Ukraine in India, CM Rao wrote to PM Modi

The Chief Minister of Telangana has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, worrying about the future and studies of thousands of students who have returned home from Ukraine due to the Russia-Ukraine war. In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao requested him to intervene to ensure the education of the students returned from Ukraine in the country itself.

 

In a letter to Prime Minister Modi, the Chief Minister said the studies of Indian students studying in various medical colleges in Ukraine have been disrupted due to the Russia-Ukraine war. Faced with extreme hardships, he is forced to return to India. Therefore, medical students returning from Ukraine affected by the Russo-Ukraine war should be allowed to continue their studies in the country's medical colleges as a special procedure.

 

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao wrote to PM Modi that there are more than 20,000 Indian students who have been displaced from Ukraine due to the war. He said that these medical students put in a lot of hard work in their studies and also spent a lot of time and money. KCR said most of these are from middle-class families, whose families would lose their life savings for any hope of completing their children's medical studies.

 

The Chief Minister said that the sudden exodus due to the war has put his academic career in danger. His medical education in Ukraine is now feared incomplete. CM appealed that because of the extraordinary circumstances of these students, I request that as a special occasion, they may be allowed to attend equivalent semesters in medical colleges of the country, so that they may be able to complete their studies. can get help.
