A terrorist attack took place in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state of Pakistan on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. It is reported that five soldiers were killed. According to media reports, the attack took place during a search operation, and later the terrorists managed to escape while firing. This is the fourth attack in the same area this month.
It is believed that like the previous attacks, this attack was also carried out by the Pakistan Taliban. The Taliban are considered to have a strong presence in this area.
two-way attack
According to reports, this attack took place in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A unit of soldiers was on patrol here. During this, there was an IED blast. After this, the firing continued for a long time. Five soldiers are reported to have died in the incident. According to some reports, three Federal Corps policemen and two policemen have been killed.
After the incident, firing between the terrorists and the army continued for a long time. Taking advantage of this, the terrorists fled. After getting the information, another contingent of soldiers was dispatched to the spot.
Security forces cordoned off the area
After the incident, a commando squad of the Pakistan Army was also sent to the spot. According to reports, the terrorists already knew that the army unit was going to pass through here. That's why the bomb was already planted there. As soon as the troops passed through here, there was an explosion. After this, firing was also done on the soldiers. However, no terrorist's body was recovered from the spot.
the captain was also killed
A captain of the Pakistani army was killed in the terrorist attack on October 1. This attack also took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state. Here is the government of Imran Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
The special thing is that a few days before this attack, Imran had said in an interview that his government is constantly in talks with the Taliban Pakistan and soon they can reach a conclusion. The Taliban, on the other hand, refused to negotiate, saying that the Pakistani government would have to implement Sharia law in the territories they occupied.
