The German government has stated Rahul Gandhi's removal from parliament. In its statement, Germany's Foreign Ministry has said that in the case of opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, the standards of judicial independence and fundamental democratic principles should be applied. Please tell that this is the first reaction of any European country to the Rahul Gandhi case. Earlier, America had also given its reaction to the Rahul Gandhi issue.

What did the Foreign Ministry of Germany say

The spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Germany said in a conversation with the media 'We have come to know that Rahul Gandhi can appeal against the decision. After that it will be clear on what basis the decision was given and whether there was any basis to dismiss him from the membership of Parliament or not.

Germany's Foreign Ministry spokesman said that 'we are expecting that in the case of Rahul Gandhi, the standards of judicial independence and fundamental democratic principles will apply.' After this statement from the Foreign Ministry of Germany, no reaction from the Indian Foreign Ministry has been revealed so far.

Rahul Gandhi's membership lost in defamation case

Please tell that in a case of defamation, Rahul Gandhi's parliament membership has been canceled. In the year 2019, while addressing a rally in Karnataka before the Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi commented the Modi surname, after which a defamation case was filed against him. Recently, the court of Surat convicted Rahul Gandhi and sentenced him to two years. According to the law, after being sentenced to two years, Rahul Gandhi's parliament membership was canceled. At present, Rahul Gandhi is out of jail on bail.

America also issued a statement

Before Germany, the US government also stated the Rahul Gandhi case. Speaking to the media, Vedant Patel, Deputy Spokesperson of the US State Department, said that we are keeping an eye on the Rahul Gandhi case. We are also in touch with the Government of India on this issue.
