After the second wave of the Coronavirus started in April, there was a lot of havoc. Now, this wave seems to be coming to an end. For the past several days, the number of daily reported infections is decreasing rapidly. Looking at the data, it seems that the peak of the second wave is over. However, the central and state governments are still cautious and are showing no haste over the immediate removal of the lockdown. For the last one week, the cases of corona in 30 states and union territories have been decreasing continuously. Since May 28, less than two lakh cases are being reported daily.

 

The Union Health Ministry told in the Corona briefing that there has been a 50 percent reduction in active cases. 1.3 lakh active cases have come down in a day. There are 30 states/union territories where fewer cases are being reported daily for a week, which is a positive trend. "There have been 1,27,000 cases of corona in the last 24 hours," said Luv Aggarwal, joint secretary in the health ministry. Less than two lakh cases are being received since May 28. Giving information about the figures of the corona, Lav Aggarwal said, "The number of patients recovering from the corona is more than the daily cases reported. With a recovery of 92 percent, the average testing has reached 20 lakh.

 

54 days later the lowest 1,27,510 new cases

The total number of infected people increased to 2,81,75,044 after 54 days after the lowest number of 1,27,510 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours. At the same time, the daily rate of infection of the samples has also come down to 6.62 percent. According to the data, after the death of 2,795 more people due to infection in the country, the death toll increased to 3,31,895. So few cases of death due to infection have been reported in the country after 35 days. At the same time, after 43 days, less than 20 lakh cases were also registered under treatment. According to the data, 34,67,92,257 samples have been tested for Covid-19 in the country so far, of which 19,25,374 samples were tested on Monday.
