In this episode, ambassadors and senior diplomats from around 64 countries of the world have been taken to Hyderabad on Wednesday morning. Foreign diplomats will be shown to indigenous companies like Bharat Biotech and Biological-E, which manufacture the corona vaccine.
A team of foreign diplomats who arrived in Hyderabad to host the Ministry of External Affairs will present the hallmark of vaccine manufacturing capabilities in companies like Bharat-Biotech and Biological-E. Both companies are playing an important role in the manufacture and production of vaccines against the corona epidemic. While Bharat Biotech has developed the vaccine called Covicin, the Ohio State Innovation Fund has partnered with the Biological-E company in the new vaccine technology.
Diplomat reached Hyderabad
All the invited diplomats have been taken to Hyderabad by a special flight of Air India on Wednesday morning. The team of foreign ambassadors in Hyderabad, called the vaccine capital of India, will visit the Genome Valley area where India-Biotech and Biological-E are homegrown companies. According to official sources, India will try to use this tour where it will have to show its vaccine production capabilities. At the same time, there will also be an attempt to find a market for indigenous Covid 19 vaccines. With the preparation of this tour, the official of an official associated with the preparations for this tour will naturally try to find possible purchases for Indian vaccines in countries of Africa, South-East Asia, and Central Asia.
Diplomats from these countries came to India
Representation of different geographical regions has been included in this group of invited diplomats. According to sources, the team includes their health representatives from the US Embassy, while neighboring countries include Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Maldives. While Iran is also part of this party in the extended neighborhood, but China and Pakistan are not part of it.

Before this visit of diplomats, PM Modi went to Hyderabad and Pune to get information about vaccine production capabilities himself. At the same time, on forums like BRICS, Modi has also said that the example of India's capabilities was seen by the whole world during the Covid-19, when we were able to deliver essential medicines to more than 150 countries due to the capabilities of the Indian pharma industry. In such a situation, India's vaccine production and delivery capabilities will also be useful to humanity. Earlier last month, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla and other expert representatives of the Government of India gave a detailed presentation on diplomats from 190 countries of the world on Indian vaccine production capabilities. Only then was this program made to show diplomats the hallmark of production capacity.
ICMR and the National Institute of Virology are ready
It is worth noting that Bharat Biotech has prepared its corona vaccine Covaxin in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology. On November 7, the company has applied to the Central Drug Regulator, ie Drug Controller General of India, to get approval for the emergency use of its anti-Covid-19 vaccine. At the same time, Ohio State Innovation Foundation of America has licensed the Covid-19 vaccine along with Biological-E company, which has set up a state-of-the-art vaccine manufacturing facility at a cost of about Rs 300 crore in Hyderabad.
