
There is a comforting news amid the continuing increase in the cases of corona virus. There are 325 districts in the country where there is not a single case of corona virus. It is known that since the end of March, the entire lockdown has been in force in the country to prevent corona. This lockdown will run until May 3. There has also been some decrease in the pace of growth of Covid-19 patients due to the lockdown. At the same time, people have got some relief from lockdown in many districts from today.
Corona virus cases have been reported from 411 districts out of total 736 districts. There are 18 districts where 46 percent of the total number of infected patients have been reported. Mumbai (Maharashtra), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Hyderabad (Telangana), Ranchi (Jharkhand) and Khurda (Odisha) have more than 50 per cent cases in their states. At the same time, except for Delhi and Tamil Nadu, more than 25 percent of the cases in all the states are from their most affected district.
The number of corona virus patients in the country has crossed 17 thousand on Monday morning. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, the number of infection cases increased to 17,265. At the same time, the death toll from Covid-19 in the country increased to 543 on Monday. The Health Ministry said that 14,175 people infected with Covid-19 are currently under treatment in the country, while 2,546 people have recovered after treatment and have been discharged from hospitals. A person has gone abroad. 77 foreign nationals are also involved in these cases.
A total of 24 people have died since Sunday evening. These include 12 from Maharashtra, five from Gujarat, three from Rajasthan and two each from Delhi and Karnataka. Maharashtra has the highest number of 223 deaths due to the total 543 deaths due to infection in the country. After that, 70 people died in Madhya Pradesh, 63 in Gujarat, 45 in Delhi and 18 in Telangana. 17 people have died in Uttar Pradesh whereas 16-16 people have died due to this infection in Punjab and Karnataka. The infection has killed 15 people in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and 14 in Rajasthan. The disease killed five people in Jammu and Kashmir, while three people each died in Kerala and Haryana. Two people each lost their lives in Jharkhand and Bihar. In Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha and Assam, one person has died due to this infection.
