Now this will not happen, BSF has got exemption in NDPS Act, Passport Act, and Customs Act to take direct action.

Till now BSF used to take action somewhere with the help of police and then return to the border. Now BSF will take separate action in the same area as the state police. With the new authority, they are no longer needed with the local police. In such a situation, they may clash with the villagers and the local police regarding the action.
