Iron Dome, which is called Israel's defense shield, has destroyed these missiles in the air. However, Air Dome could not trace some of the missiles, which hit around Israel's Nevatim airbase. “This is what a 99 percent interception rate looks like,” the IDF wrote in the post.

israel's strength

Israeli air defense shot down most of the Iranian missiles and drones before they reached Israeli territory with the help of Arrow's aerial defense system. Let us know what the strength of Israel is, with the help of which it has once again established its dominance in the skies of the Middle East.

After Arrow 2, Israel has also included the advanced class Arrow 3. Its function is to destroy long-range targets in the air. Its rocket can destroy enemy missiles at a speed of Mach 9 (about 11,000 km per hour).

Defense systems include missile launchers, Green Pine fire control, and a Citron Tree battle management system. The Green Pine radar is capable of detecting targets up to 2,400 m long and engaging up to 14 targets simultaneously. The radar can hit targets at an altitude of 100 kilometers.

Israel's air defense system operates at several levels. The Arrow Defense System works at its top level, which has been developed by Israel's Aerospace Industries in collaboration with the US Missile Defense Agency. Work on its development started in the late 1980s. The Arrow 1 underwent at least seven tests in the 1990s and was further developed into a lighter missile, known as the Arrow 2.
