India Canada Row. The tensions between India and Canada are increasing with each passing time. Relations between the two countries have deteriorated due to an absurd statement by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about giving shelter to terrorists supporting Khalistan.

On one hand, while the Modi government has been continuously demanding Canada take action against Khalistani terrorists, on the other hand, the Canadian PM has been seen many times openly supporting Khalistani terrorists. Many such incidents took place in the last three days i.e. 72 hours, due to which the gap between the relations between the two countries increased further.

PM Trudeau gave an absurd statement on the death of a terrorist

Khalistani supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead in Surrey city of Canada on June 18 this year. Regarding this murder, on Monday night (September 18), Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that the Indian government was behind the murder of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

He claimed that Canadian security agencies are investigating whether Indian agencies are behind the murder of Hardeep Singh. At the same time, Canada also expelled the Indian diplomat.

India gave a befitting reply

The Indian Foreign Ministry immediately responded to PM Trudeau's statement. The Indian government rejected Canada's allegations and said that such allegations are being made to divert attention from Khalistanis and extremists.

The Indian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday morning (September 19) termed PM Trudeau's allegations as baseless. At the same time, the Indian Foreign Ministry said that such statements made by the PM are an attempt to divert attention from Khalistani terrorists and extremists, who have been getting shelter in Canada.

At the same time, on Tuesday, India summoned Canadian High Commissioner Cameron McKay. A decision has also been taken to expel the Canadian diplomat from India. "The High Commissioner of Canada to India was summoned today and informed of the Government of India's decision to expel a senior Canadian diplomat based in India," the Ministry of External Affairs said.

Indians should be cautious when traveling to Canada: India

On Wednesday, India indirectly identified Canada as an unsafe country for Indians and advised Indians living there or planning to travel there to exercise extreme caution.

An advisory issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said, "Due to increasing anti-India activities, politically motivated hate crimes, and criminal violence in Canada, all Indians living there or planning to go there should exercise extreme caution." Canada a day earlier had also issued an advisory to its citizens going to India asking them to remain alert.

NIA releases list of 43 people associated with terrorist-gangster network

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has further said that recently it has been observed that diplomats living in Canada and people of the Indian community protesting against anti-India activities have been threatened. In such a situation, Indian people should not travel to areas of Canada where such activities are likely to happen. Given the bad situation in Canada, Indian students have been especially advised to be extremely cautious.

On Wednesday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) released details of 43 individuals linked to a terrorist-gangster network with links to Canada. The agency asked the public to share details of their properties and assets, which can be taken over by the central government.

NIA has released photographs of Goldie Brar, Rajesh Kumar, Prince, Anil V, and Mohammad Shahbaz along with their names and has revealed that many of these gangsters are based in Canada.
