Chittur district of Andhra Pradesh where Tirupati Venkateswara temple is located in Tirupati. Also known as Tirupati Balaji temple. Lord Venkateswara is called the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Millions of devotees come and visit every day. The importance of donation in this temple is also very high. Apart from donating in the donation box of Lord Balaji on behalf of the devotees, a huge amount of gold is offered to Balaji. It is said to be the richest temple in the country.

What is the belief behind gold plating:

According to ancient beliefs, when Lord Venkateswara was getting married to Mata Padmavati, he felt short of money and for this he went to the shelter of Kubera, the lord of wealth. Lord Venkateswara asked him for money and gold coins. Swaroop gave him the money but at the same time took a promise from him. He said that this money will have to be repaid to him by the end of Kali Yuga. They may be. It is believed that even today, Lord Venkateswara has that debt and his devotees help him in repaying this debt. The money will be filled by God. Therefore, donation boxes are seen all around the temple premises, which is called a hundi there.

Devotees donate up to the company's shares:

In view of the fact that some devotees donate the shares of the company to the temple, the demat account of the temple has been opened even in the name of Lord Balaji. In this temple, Lord Balaji receives about one ton of gold in donations every year. No photography is allowed inside the main temple complex, and if you talk about the temple complex, the temple decoration can be seen with gold inside. When the donation box of the temple is opened, the donated material is filled in large sacks and kept in a hall, and then the people of the temple committee sit and distribute all the donations in different categories.

There is a grand kitchen in the temple complex:

There is also a grand kitchen in the temple premises where food is prepared for millions of devotees daily. In this kitchen, more than thousand employees are employed all the time. They prepare food and breakfast from morning to night and come in huge That food is kept in the vessel.
