Twitter has launched its updated account verification program. Now all verified accounts will not only get blue ticks but three color categories have been divided among them. Companies will get gold cheques, governments will get gray checks and common citizens will get blue ticks. Apart from this, all the checks will be manually checked before being activated.

Earlier, Twitter had launched Twitter Blue with a check-mark badge on November 9, but the service was put on hold after two days due to the increase in the number of fake accounts. New Blue Signs Ups were discontinued. Right now this service has been relaunched in some countries including America. For this, 8 dollars will have to be paid every month.

If you buy it from Apple's App Store, it will be available for $11 per month. The reason for it being expensive at the Apple Store is the 30% tax charged by Apple. In the past, Elon Musk had told about this tax of Apple. When this service will be launched in India, then 700 rupees per month may have to be paid for it.

What will you get for Twitter Blue Subscription?

In this subscription of $ 8, users will get the ability to edit tweets, and upload videos in 1080p ie HD quality, reader mode, and a blue checkmark. Apart from this, priority will be given in reply, mentioning, and searching. 50% fewer ads will be seen than normal users and new features will also get priority.

Subscribers will also be able to change their handle, display name, or profile photo, but if they do so, the blue checkmark will be temporarily removed until their account is reviewed again. Twitter also revealed that the official label for businesses will be replaced with a gold checkmark. There will be a gray checkmark for government and multilateral accounts.

Criteria for Blue Checkmark

Your account must have a display name and profile photo.

For Blue Service, the account should be active in the last 30 days.

The account must be more than 90 days old and have a confirmed phone number.

There should not be any recent change in the profile photo or display name.

There should be no indication of misleading the account.

There should be no indication of the account being involved in spam.

The blue checkmark will appear on the account only after it is reviewed by the Twitter team.

This checkmark will be given only if the Twitter team feels that all the eligibility criteria are being met. Twitter may also remove checkmarks from accounts that are found to be violating Twitter Rules.

delete all old blue checks

Elon Musk tweeted, 'We will be eliminating all legacy blue checks in a few months. How these blue checks were given was wrong. Before Musk's takeover, the blue check mark was reserved only for politicians, celebrities, journalists, and other public figures. There were several things involved in getting it, including submitting a government-issued ID.

Blue subscription in India will cost Rs 719

Some Twitter users in India received a pop-up on the Apple App Store for Blue subscriptions on the night of 10 November. In this, the monthly price of a Twitter Blue subscription was mentioned as Rs 719. However, the price is still not officially revealed.

3 reasons to move to subscription mode

The company is incurring a loss of 32 crores daily. They want to increase the revenue with the new model.

Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion. They want to make up for it soon.

Twitter is heavily in debt. They don't want to depend on advertisers to end it.
