The all-religious Shivpremi Punekar, along with the Maratha organization Sambhaji Brigade, several organizations, and opposition parties, observed a Pune bandh on Tuesday. During this, a silent march will be taken out. Under this, the silent march will start after offering flowers at the statue of Chhatrapati Sambhaji in Deccan.

All shops will remain closed till 3 pm, medical stores will remain open
The bandh called by NCP and Shiv Sena has got the support of many social and business organizations. Federation of Traders Association of Pune (FATP) president Fatehchand Ranka had said, "We condemn the governor's statement and appeal to the traders to support the bandh." All shops and offices will remain closed till 3 pm.
Essential services like grocery stores, bakeries, and milk shops are allowed to open till 10 am. After this, the shops will remain closed till 3 pm. Medical shops will remain open throughout the day. Petrol and CNG pumps will remain operational. Adequate security arrangements have been made. Over 100 police officers as well as 1000 jawans have been deployed.
Koshyari told Shivaji the icon of the old times
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari called Shivaji an icon of yesteryears at a university function in Aurangabad on 19 November. Union minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari and NCP chief Sharad Pawar were also present at the event along with Koshyari.
