UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a big announcement that the families of the state employees who died while on duty due to Covid infection will be fully supported. They have also issued orders in this regard.

He said that cooperation will be done with full sensitivity and sympathy towards the family concerned. He has given orders to the officers that the ex-gratia amount, appointment of the deceased dependent and other procedures should be completed immediately. There is no pending file attached to it. He directed that immediate orders in this regard be issued by the Chief Secretary.

The Chief Minister's statement comes at a time when there is a fierce battle over the figures of state employees employed in the Panchayat elections. Please tell that the teachers and staff unions of the state have accused the officers of disturbing the number of dead teachers and staff and warned them to agitate on their demands.
