Vande Bharat Express Train: PM Modi's gift to West Bengal, will flag off Vande Bharat Express

PM Narendra Modi will give a big gift to West Bengal. PM will lay the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 7800 crore in Bengal. Apart from this, he will flag off the Vande Bharat Express shortly from now. This train will run on the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri route. This will be the first Vande Bharat train in West Bengal. PM will attend this program through video conferencing.

 

The joka-Taratla metro line will be inaugurated

Modi will also inaugurate the newly constructed Joka-Taratla Metro line in Kolkata. The 6.5 km section with 6 stations namely Joka, Thakurpukur, Sakher Bazar, Behala Chowrasta, Behala Bazar, and Taratala has been constructed for 2475 crores.

 

Will attend the Ganga Parishad meeting

PM Modi will also chair the meeting of the National Ganga Council in Kolkata. This meeting will be held to review the ongoing projects toward making Ganga and its tributaries pollution free. The meeting will be held at INN Netaji Subhash, the headquarters of the Indian Navy. The meeting will be attended by the Union Jal Shakti Minister along with Union Ministers of concerned departments and Chief Ministers of National Ganga Council member states Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
