The petition filed in the Supreme Court is also to be heard today. The survey work has been completed here, after which the premises have been sealed.
The petition which is to be heard in the Supreme Court today has been filed by the Anjuman Masjid Committee. In this, a request has been made to the court to stop the survey of Gyanvapi. The petition will be heard by a bench headed by Justice DY Chandrachud. Let us tell you that the order of the survey of Gyanvapi was given by the court of Varanasi. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said that the Gyanvapi mosque was and will remain. He had even said during a speech that he had lost the Babri Masjid but now does not want to lose Gyanvapi. Owaisi says that the order of the Varanasi Court also violates the order of the Supreme Court in the Ayodhya case. In this case, one of the parties is arguing based on the Places of Worship Act, 1991. This law was made in 1991. According to this, the religious place in which it was present on August 15, 1947, will remain the same.
