The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain in Gujarat today. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for rain in the northeastern states, including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
Rainfall in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand
The monsoon has wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. After a few days of respite, rain has resumed in the hill states. Rain warnings have been issued for several states, including Dehradun and Pithoragarh. According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms and lightning are expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on October 4-5.
How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?
Drizzle occurred at several places in Delhi-NCR this morning. The weather is expected to change on October 2 in several districts, including Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. Temperatures may drop due to light rain in Delhi-NCR until Dussehra. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are also expected in Rajasthan from September 30 to October 3.
