Weather changes due to drizzle in Delhi-NCR, how will the weather be today in other states, including UP-Bihar?

The monsoon has begun to withdraw from North India. For the past few days, several states, including Delhi-NCR, have experienced humid heat. However, the weather may change in many places today. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rain today.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area has formed over the Gulf of Khambhat. Consequently, heavy rain is expected in the Saurashtra and Kutch regions of Gujarat today. Heavy rain is expected in eastern India from October 2nd.

 

IMD Update

In the past 24 hours, heavy rain has continued along the Konkan coast, including Gujarat. Meanwhile, a cyclone has caused heavy rain in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, accompanied by strong thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain in Gujarat today. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for rain in the northeastern states, including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

 

Rainfall in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand

The monsoon has wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. After a few days of respite, rain has resumed in the hill states. Rain warnings have been issued for several states, including Dehradun and Pithoragarh. According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms and lightning are expected in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on October 4-5.

 

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?

Drizzle occurred at several places in Delhi-NCR this morning. The weather is expected to change on October 2 in several districts, including Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. Temperatures may drop due to light rain in Delhi-NCR until Dussehra. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are also expected in Rajasthan from September 30 to October 3.

 

Weather Conditions in Uttar Pradesh-Bihar

People in Uttar Pradesh are yet to expect relief from the heat. Many districts in Uttar Pradesh are experiencing excruciating heat. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may have occurred in some areas of the state today. Light to moderate rain is expected in Lucknow and the surrounding districts between September 30 and October 3.

 

The weather in Bihar may change over the next seven days. Heavy rain is expected in West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha in the next four to five days. Light to moderate rain is also possible in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana until October 2nd.
