The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these districts. Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Jamui, Khagaria, Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj and South Central Bihar during the next 24 hours in the state. Talking, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in different areas of Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad.

Chances of rain in these districts of Uttar Pradesh

There is a possibility of rain in many parts of Uttar Pradesh including Firozabad, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Mainpuri, and Mahoba. There is also a possibility of rain in Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Fatehpur, Farrukhabad, Banda, Jalaun, Mahoba, Kannauj, Chitrakoot, Etawah districts.

Heavy rain in Odisha

Incessant rain continues in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar since Tuesday evening. According to IMD, Bhubaneswar, rain is likely to continue on Wednesday as well. IMD officer Umashankar Das has also advised people to stay in safe places to avoid lightning.
