The India Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for most of the states even today. Heavy rain is expected in parts of Uttarakhand, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha today.
There is a possibility of rain in Uttar Pradesh for the next three days. Talking about Delhi-NCR, the heat has started increasing due to the inactive monsoon. The maximum temperature can reach 38 degrees Celsius on Friday. There will be light cloudy movement during the day. The wind speed is likely to remain in the range of 12 to 18 kmph. In Himachal Pradesh, the weather will be clear and sunny in most areas on Friday. There is a possibility of rain at some places in the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, along with South India, there may be heavy rains in many states of West Bengal-Sikkim and Northeast India. The IMD also said that rain activity will remain low over Northwest and Central India till next week.
Heavy rain alert in Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand Meteorological Center has issued an alert of heavy rain. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rain and hailstorm in Uttarakhand from September 2 to 5. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand on September 2 and there is a possibility of heavy rain in Dehradun Nainital on September 3. Issuing a yellow alert of rain in the state, the Meteorological Center said that this alert will remain in the state till September 3 and during this time there may be good rains in many districts and areas. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells may occur over Konkan & Goa, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Madhya Pradesh.
