Weekend Lockdown begins in Delhi

The weekend lockdown has started in Delhi from 10 pm on Friday. There has been silence on the streets of Delhi since Saturday morning. The decision to impose a weekend curfew was taken by the Kejriwal government because of the rising outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic in the capital Delhi. On Saturday and Sunday, barring the essential services, the rest of the movement continues.

 

The weekend lockdown in Delhi will run till 30 April. Malls, gyms, spas, and auditoriums will remain completely closed on this day. It is only allowed to go out for necessary tasks. Curfew passes have also been issued for this. Curfew passes are also being given for works like marriage, funeral. On behalf of the government, it has been said that even after the weekend lockdown, if the number of corona continues to increase, then the entire lockdown can also be imposed.

 

After 15 days in Maharashtra, there is talk of complete lockdown

In Maharashtra, strict prohibition has been imposed for 15 days because of the havoc of the coronavirus. Meanwhile, the discussion is that even if there is no reduction in corona cases, then the Maharashtra government may decide to impose a complete lockdown. On Friday, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that some ministers in our cabinet said that if people do not follow the current ban properly, then it may be time to impose a complete lockdown like they did last year.

 

On April 13, CM Uddhav Thackeray had made it clear that all offices would remain closed except for essential services during the mini lockdown. People like e-commerce, banks, media, petrol pumps, security guards have been exempted from this. Corona patients are appearing in Maharashtra in record numbers every day.

 

Every Sunday in UP, night curfew in 11 districts

After the rapid pace of Corona in UP, some important decisions have been taken by Yogi Adityanath's government. The decision has been taken for a weekly bandh across the state. Every Sunday there will be a lockdown everywhere. Night curfew is already in force in 11 districts with more corona cases including the capital Lucknow.

 

Night curfew is already in force in districts with more than 2 thousand cases including Lucknow, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Kanpur. There is a night curfew from 8 am to 7 am. In the event of Sunday lockdown, there will be a 35-hour curfew in these districts from 8 am on Saturday to 7 am on Monday. The rest of the state will remain in captivity on Sunday.

 

Corona curfew in 25 cities of Madhya Pradesh

Corona curfew has been imposed in 25 cities of the state so far. In Rewa, Tikamgarh, and Chhatarpur, a decision has been taken to do a total lockdown. Corona curfew has been imposed in 25 cities including Dindori, Dhar, Hoshangabad, and Gwalior.

 

Due to the rapid increase in the number of patients, beds are full in hospitals in many cities. Patients are wandering for treatment. In the capital Bhopal, arrangements have started falling from the hospital to the crematorium. The same situation is prevalent in cities with more patients like Gwalior, Jabalpur, and Khargone. In Jabalpur, the Collector has also ordered the closure of grocery stores from April 15.

 

Meeting in Bihar today

Because of the increasing infection of the Coronavirus in Bihar, Governor Fagu Chauhan will hold a meeting with representatives of various political parties on Saturday i.e. today. This is an all-party meeting to discuss the situation of Covid-19. In this meeting, representatives of the major political parties of the state will be included besides the representatives of the government.

 

Nitish Kumar held a high-level meeting on the rising corona cases in Bihar. The Chief Minister said that if those who are in other states outside Bihar want to come back to Bihar then they must come back, it will be better. Since then, there has been talking of a lockdown in Bihar.

 

Corona getting scared in Gujarat, night curfew imposed

Because of the increasing cases of the Coronavirus, the Gujarat government has issued an order to impose a night curfew in 20 cities of the state. Earlier, the Gujarat High Court had asked the state government to impose a weekend curfew. The High Court had said on Tuesday that the state government should impose a curfew of 3-4 days in the state. After this, the Vijay Rupani government has not only announced the imposition of night curfew in 20 states but has announced several new restrictions regarding Corona.

 

Night curfew will be imposed from 8 am to 6 am in 20 marked cities of the state. Instructions have been directed to postpone all major celebrations in the state by April 30. At the same time, the government offices will also be closed on Saturday on April 30.

 

Weekend Curfew in Rajasthan

Keeping in mind the increasing corona infection in Rajasthan, a weekend curfew has been imposed in the state by the state government. The weekend curfew will remain in force in the state from 6 pm Friday to 5 am Monday. This major decision was taken after the emergency high-level meeting on Thursday night. During the night curfew, government personnel has been allowed to move along with the identity card. At the same time, traveling to and from the bus stand, railway, metro station airport will be allowed. Similarly, health workers working in private and government institutions have also been exempted from the curfew.
