David Warner, who played a quick inning of 48 runs with the bat, also tried his hand at bowling in this match.

However, Warner was badly beaten in bowling and he gave away 41 runs in 2 overs.

Repeated feat after 11 years

David Warner had bowled only once in ODI cricket before this match. The Kangaroo opener tried his hand at bowling in the match played against England in 2012. That means Warner was seen bowling again after almost 11 years. However, Warner excelled in batting and played a brilliant inning of 48 runs in 33 balls. During this innings, the Kangaroo opener hit 4 fours and three sixes.

 

Maxwell-Green played a stormy innings

Glenn Maxwell wreaked havoc in Australia's batting. Maxwell played a brilliant inning of 77 runs facing just 71 balls. During his innings, Maxwell hit 4 fours and six sixes. At the same time, Cameron Green also completed his half-century in 40 balls.
