India tour of England 2022: India has to play the only Test match against England from July 1 and after that, a three-match T20 and One Day International series will be played from July 7 to July 17. This time on the England tour, Team India captain Rohit Sharma will have a golden chance to leave behind former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi in a special case. Afridi is currently ahead of Rohit in terms of most sixes in international cricket, but Rohit can overtake him on this tour.

Afridi has 476 sixes in his account in international cricket, while Rohit Sharma has hit 464 international sixes so far. Rohit is now just 12 sixes behind Afridi. If Rohit hits 12 sixes on this tour, then he will match Afridi and if he hits 13 or more sixes, then he will overtake Afridi. The world record for most sixes in international cricket is held by Chris Gayle, who has hit a total of 553 sixes.

Rohit is currently at number three, while he is followed by former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum. McCullum has a total of 398 international sixes in his account. On this tour, India has to play a total of seven matches including Test, ODI, and T20, in such a situation, the fans will expect Rohit to return to the rhythm and also go ahead of Afridi in this special list.
