Meanwhile, Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla has urged US President Joe Biden to lift a temporary ban on the export of raw materials needed to produce the vaccine. Poonawalla says that to stop the production of vaccines in India, a ban from the US is necessary.

adar poonawalla said, 3,000 crores is needed to increase production

In an interview with NDTV recently, adar poonawalla also expressed concern about the production of the vaccine. adar poonawalla said that if we need Rs 3,000 crore to accelerate the production of the vaccine, that is not a small amount. We have already spent thousands of crores of capital. We have to adopt different ways so that we can contribute to deal with the growing crisis of Corona in the country.

 

The company is producing 6 crore vaccines every month

Currently, the company is producing 6 to 7 crore vaccines every month. Currently, frontline workers in India, all over the age of 45, are getting vaccinated. Apart from this, there is a demand to vaccinate other people in the country. However, no decision has been taken in this regard till now. But it is being said that soon the youth may decide to vaccinate.
