World's biggest naval exercise: 26 countries including India-USA will be involved, preparing to end China's dominance

26 countries including India and America are going to conduct the world's largest naval exercise. It will start on June 29 and will run till August 4. Preparations have been completed for this in Honolulu and San Diego, USA. The very simple purpose of this drill is to show China that it will not play a role in any maritime area of the world, including the South China Sea. This exercise is done once in two years. It was canceled at the last minute due to Kovid-19 in 2020.

This exercise has been named 'Rim of the Pacific Exercise 2022' i.e. RIMPAC 2022. RIMPAC was started in 1971. This is the 28th edition of this exercise.

Quad's four countries included

The four countries included in the Quad i.e. India, America, Australia, and Japan will be involved in the drill. Five countries will also be part of the exercise, which is having a confrontation with China in the South China Sea, that is, the South China Sea. Therefore, there is no problem in accepting that many countries have now made up their mind to compete with China. America is helping these countries directly.

This exercise also becomes important because recently China has made a secret deal with the government of the Solomon Islands, about 2 thousand kilometers from Australia's maritime border. This posed a serious threat to the security of Australia. Since Australia is a part of the quad, the importance of this exercise also becomes more.

US Navy preparation

According to the 3rd Fleet of the US Navy – Ground commandos from 9 countries have also been specially included in this exercise. Through this, the preparedness of ground operations on the islands will be reviewed. We want the Indo-Pacific to be completely open to all. The dominance of any one country cannot be accepted here. China's actions in the South China Sea and the Indo-Pacific Ocean will not be tolerated. Beijing should understand that no one country has any right over the sea.

China's tension now doubles

RIMPAC 2022 is a very direct message to China that the small countries present in the South China Sea are now ready to compete with it. The reason for this is that the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, and Singapore are also included in this exercise. The total maritime border of these countries is about 1.3 million square kilometers.

Another important thing is that the four countries included in the quad are now rapidly increasing military cooperation. However, initially, the purpose of these countries was not direct military cooperation. At that time only trade and culture were given more importance.

understand the signs

Recently, the heads of state of the quad countries met in Tokyo. Narendra Modi and Joe Biden were also involved in this. At the same time, Australian media reported that the Quad countries were moving very cautiously, but rapidly, in terms of military cooperation. Now, this has been proved.

China is intimidated by this cooperation. China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on May 25 – We know that Asian NATO is now being prepared to surround China. Its consequences can be serious.

Biden's Silent Diplomacy

Many diplomatic experts in America and the world have repeatedly described Joe Biden's leadership as weak. However, Biden walked the pawns very calmly and made it clear that he wanted to keep America in the role of a world leader. He not only strengthened the quad but also took a very tough stand on China's efforts to bring Taiwan under pressure. He has made it clear that if China takes any step like an attack on Taiwan, then America will not take the time to take military action.
